3. Technology Banners

Our brief was to work with students to produce a set of wall hangings to represent the three main areas of technology taught in a secondary college: textiles, graphics and resistant materials. The title banner in the form of a large arrow, leads into the department where the subject banners brighten the walls of a long corridor.
The banners were designed and fabricated using fabric collage techniques in collaboration with year 7 pupils during their ‘Arts Week’.
